Booking built for
ice rinks.
Sell public sessions, learn-to-skate and parties from your own page. Cap every session to the ice, add skate hire, and take the money straight into your own Stripe account.
See it live at Hatchwood Park
powered by HatchA full rink, every session.
School holidays, disco nights and the Christmas rush sell themselves online, while your team stays on the ice.
Capped to the ice
Give each session its own limit and it stops selling when it is full. You never put more skaters on the ice than you have decided is safe, and every slot can hold a different number.
Peak and off-peak pricing
Price your quiet weekday sessions lower than your weekend peaks, so the empty slots fill without you discounting the busy ones.
Skate hire and spectators
Add hire, spectator entry and a learn-to-skate place as their own ticket types at their own prices, sold in the same basket as the session and counted separately.
Door check-in
Scan the QR from each skater's confirmation at the door on any phone, or tick them off the list on screen. Walk-ups and pre-booked, one door.
A till for walk-ups
The Sell screen turns any tablet into a till for cash or card. Walk-up skaters land in the same session counts and end-of-day totals as the online bookings.
Reports at a glance
See your bookings, takings and how full each session ran, so you know what to price up, what to push and where the quiet spots are.
Every booking goes and gets you the next skater.
Parties bring the whole group
Once a skater has booked, one tap posts the session to their group chat, previewing with your rink's photo and name on it. Their friends book the same slot.
Google reviews, asked for automatically
A friendly ask lands the day after they skate, while it is still fresh. For a local rink, more reviews is the single best way to be found.
Half-booked skates, chased back
Someone wanders off mid-booking and Hatch nudges them an hour later. Sessions quietly filled, nothing for you to do.
Your sessions, published to Google
Every session goes out as structured event data, the kind Google uses for "ice skating near me" and its things-to-do results.
Your skaters stay yours
They book on your page, under your name, and you keep the customer list and the data. Software you run, not a marketplace that rents you your own skaters.
The day after they skate
"How was it?"
Every skater gets a friendly ask for a Google review, sent automatically, with nothing for you to remember.

Straight answers.
Can I cap each session to the ice's safe capacity?
Yes. Every session has its own limit, and once it is full it stops selling, so you never put more skaters on the ice than you have decided is safe. Different sessions can hold different numbers.
Can I sell skate hire, spectators and lessons as well as skating?
Yes. Alongside the skating ticket you add extras as their own ticket types at their own prices, such as skate hire, spectator entry or a coached learn-to-skate place, and each is counted and reported separately.
We run a seasonal Christmas rink. Does that work?
Yes. Open sessions for your dates, sell them hard for the few weeks you are on, then close them. There is no monthly fee sitting there the rest of the year: you pay 3% only on what you sell.
Can skaters change their own booking?
Yes. From their confirmation a skater can change their own booking, moving to another time or adding and dropping tickets, confirmed by a short code we email them. If the change works out cheaper we refund the difference straight to their card, with nothing for you to do. If it costs more, they pay the difference there and then. A full cancellation stays your call, a couple of clicks from your dashboard.
Do walk-up skaters and online bookings end up in one place?
Yes. The Sell screen takes walk-ups on any tablet as cash or card, and they land in the same session counts and end-of-day totals as the online bookings. One set of numbers.
What does an ice rink booking system from Hatch cost?
No setup fee, no monthly minimum, and the money is paid straight into your own Stripe account. Our fee is 3% of what you sell. All in, with card fees, that is about 4.5% + 20p a booking. For a rink doing serious volume, or a group of venues, the rate flexes, so talk to us.
